Headed to the Gold coast for an early morning jack session.
Started fishing around the boat morrings and pontoons at about 130am with out much luck with a popper, a lot of hits and misses, which where very frustrating.

After a bit of rain came my way i was about to pull up stumps when i decided to give the rock walls a quick go. My luck turned and i landed my first jack at about 3am then followed by another 2 mins later only to loose it beside the boat. Lucky it was only small, about 30cm.

My attention was then bought to some big smashes on the surface out wider so i flung the popper that way and landed a few trevs to finish off the morning.
All in all pretty fun session although a bigger jack would have been nice.
I guess we dont always get what we want.

Great work mate!! gee those jacks give a good account of themselves don't they? Sounds like a fun session though, I might have to get out there and brain a few myself!!

The looks on the fish in the pics is almost as if they are thinking "Well gee, don't I look like a right royal d*^khead laying here with this pink thing hanging out of my gob?" Answer is you bet ya!... so long as they fall to those lures they will be great meals. Well done!
