    Any problems with Watersnakes

    Hi

How are the Whitesnake motors going. Any problems over Christmas.

And does anyone know whether you could adapt a minn kota bow adapator to a whitesnake to allow a bow mount motor to be removed when the boat is not in use.

    Hi whichway
I have the watersnake 54lb bowmount no probs. mine is mounted on the minn kota quick release bracket. just bolts straight on - no adjustment needed as all the holes match.

I have a 55 lb transom mount on a 4.2m abalone with usually 3 hefty blokes on board and couldn't fault it especially seeing as it got us back to the boat ramp at Jacobs Well from the broadwater junction when i ran out of fuel. Wouldn't be without it now.

Had my 54lb bow mount on for about a month, one minor drama with a loose connection that was easy enough to fix myself. First electric i've owned but so far I'm loving it and has really improved my fishing, can't beat the price either.

Thinking about getting one ( 54lb) bow mount for my poly 4.1. What amp/hr battery is a good capacity for spending the day in the weeds & mangroves.

Assume a 100A/H capacity deep cycle would suit. This too much or not enough.

    Cheers
    John
