Any news on Lake McDonald?

Hey guys,

Am taking a few blokes up there maybe next weekend, so am looking to see if anyone would mind passing on their 'world of wisdon' and reports on the area.

found the weed a real problem near the shores !!

Fished up there last weekend fo a 48cm and a 47cm on surface lures.
Pretty much the same techniques as used in other dams. Fish the weed edges and lillies using tango dancers or similar.
You can troll jackalls along the old creek bed or around the botanic gardens.
I have caught many fish using a squidgy fish on a 3/8 revhead.
