Re: Take a look at this

Looks to me like they were all caught in a large rain storm with an incoming tide.

I remember that on the news. It was a combination of a low pressure system, heaps of rain and a king tide.

Why you take 2 wheel drives on the beach with traliers though........

read a article on the incedent in sa a couple of months ago
the area was a commen camping ground well clear of the high tide mark but with big king tides i think about 50 competors were washed out
hate to imagine waking up in the dark with cold water lapping up your legs
to find out your car is now a ship wreck

Somebody must have let the cage door open and let the bozos out !!!

You'd have to have rocks in your head to take a falcon out on to the beach.

The news report I saw reported a very severe storm front without much notice. I lived on Bass Straight for a couple years and we got storms that leave you sitting around saying goodbye to the wife, all without warning. We lost the roof on the laundry one night. No sign of a storm, then bang! 80 mile hour squal, all over in an hour.
My parents lost about 15 meters of 6 foot high fencing, it ended up a block away.

    If

    cheers
