We will be meeting across from the Walkabout servo Sunday 18th Feb at 830am and departing at 9am.

We will be heading down to Dalbeg Weir via Giru, and Clare.

Never been there before but i hear there are some fun washouts and rutts once you leave the bitumen.

damn - i would love to. going to jump in Prado and head to Fraser Island this weekend. Leaving Friday afternoon at 3.30pm - 12hr drive with mate - stay with another mate in Harvey Bay, then over to Island on Sat morning. Stay Sat and Sun nights and drive back to Tsv Monday lunch time - back midnight Mon for work Tuesday. Why? because I've never been and seemed like a good idea for a boys weekend. Going to tow mates trailer with my dirt bike too - do some exploring over there. shoudl be good.

I've never been to Fraser and here there are backpackers there - hmmmm - could be mischief.

Cooky, I heard you couldn't pick up a rock in a quarry. I think those backpackers will be safe. Make sure you pack a shovel.

back and my first trip to fraser was a success - lovely place - different to what i thought. Did like the view at Lake McKenzie - lovely backpackers

will definitely go back again, but for longer trip.
