    Wello 11/2

Hey guys, will keep this short.
Hit Wello at 4.30am, first fish in the esky by 4.40am. By 6.30am we had 6 squire between 40 and 50, a 53cm flathead and a 33cm Moses Perch in the esky.
    Beautiful conditons.
All fish caught in shallow, 2.5mtrs and less.
Plastics: before sunup, white Gulp, after sunup, pumpkinseed and neon watermelon gulps. Home by 9am.
Will post a pic from my phone tomorrow.

With the turtleback worm in pumpkinseed to be exact. Well done Beefa. To think you caught a feed and were back well before some were even contemplating going out. I kind of love those sorts of trips. Some days you can spend nearly all day out and come back all sun struck and worn out and not real keen to wash the boat etc in the late arvo.

    Thanks guys.
Adamy, lately all our fish have come in the shallower water. Dunno why, but thats where they are. I think the wind has been pushing the bait up there lately.
Went over to Green but didnt get a fish. All fish came from the same area, which is two places we have GPSed from previous trips.
We tried south of the leads, but nothing much doing there either.
