Minnkota Electrician?

hi all,does anyone know of an auto electrician on the sunshine coast who will work on a minnkota,or do they need to be sent away?will ring around and ask tomorrow i was just hoping someone on here may be able to help before i throw the#*#*# thing in the creek .....thanks in advance,casta.

g,day finga.when i bought the boat the motor ran fine,the very next day the momentary switch went on it,i ordered a new switch and replaced it[couple of months later that is]..anyway i connected it back up and nothing,motor wont run at all either in momentary or continual mode.must admit finga,as a electrician i make an excellent fisherman, ive tried to fiddle with a few things but its got me beet,i havnt had a chance to get it to an autolec yet,but was hoping it was something simple i could work out myself,any advice would be great,cheers,casta.
