Left Nudgee @ 5am and headed for Mud, fished west & east sides this morning for 1 Grinner, tried floating Pillies at anchor and drifting and with the SP's, nothing, there was no run with the tides today..... Went half way across to the Sandhills, not a bird in sight. Never mind it was a beautiful day on the bay and took the opportunity to sound around for some new marks.
The fish were there. They just weren't playing fair. Lol
Better luck next time. Just try remembering how fortunate you are to be able to jump in your boat and enjoy the water. There are some like me who have to rely on invites to get out.

No fish = sad!...
Mud Island usually produces but I have been there and come back with no fish.
