G-day Gladbream. I was there mid January and the fishing was great. So not sure how things are at the moment. We found slow rolling soft plastics off the banks worked a treat on the bass and yellas. The toga were also taking the softies on the drop. However most toga were caught on hard body lures like little lucifers and knoles natives ect... Spinner baits and rev head jigs coupled with squidgy bugs were the kids favorite. We found fish schools out in the middle of the basin but didnt have any success jiging any up .But im sure other people were. A lot of people were trolling and catching some nice fish. We didnt troll other then having a lazy lure bobbing along behind the tinny while we used the electric to flick lures in to the bank. the kids picked up several toga on the one out the back. We missed most of them but a few made it to the tinny.
