    Reef Fishing after floods

Well we had some serious rain over the last week (800 mm or so),lots of flooding etc.
The wind forecasts are reasonable(north Queensland) for the short term are ok ,so I'm after some advice as to whether the reefs(40-50km out) would fish ok at the moment with all the dirty water and flood debris about.
Also wondering how long others would wait due to the danger posed by crap (logs etc)likely to be floating around in the water?.

    cheers Scott

Went out from Cairns today to outside of Batt Reef and Tounge. Water was a sickly green colour even out there. No pelagics but still managed a few good trout

    cheers,
