picked up my 18hp outboard today and was very suprised to see the outboard has been stickered as a 3 star, now this is a common old carbi 2 stroke. From all the hype I have read in the past an etec was only going to get a 4 rating at best. Not sure dealers will fit these stickers with the responcability they should. Like I said in an eariler post on this matter I my fire up the sign plotter and cut a 4 star for my 89 115hp merc and while I am at it just as well give my new tohatsu another star or 2

yeah...I am with you Blaze!! I cant see the point of all this...it's not like anyone is actually out there testing. Bit like the Energy rating on the fridge I bought...me power bill wasn't any cheaper!!!!
