Hmmm nice gadget, but I fear it would end up like my first computer.
Couldn't imagine practicing that for weeks, for a 5 second ride.
But for this on think the gas axe, would see it before too long.
It would keep you fit!
Where would I store me rods and tackle on it?
Mike
I want to know how you do a bit of trolling with it.
You'd be real fit after a season.
Saw these on some saturday morning kids tv thing a few weeks back that my son was watching, they were trialling them from a wharf in the Brissy river, doubt if the hydrofoil thing would be a deterrent to the bull sharks
It's pretty poor when the design something to this level, and they don't design in some form of floatation. I mean what use is it if you can't stop have a fish or judge how far out you are, before you realise you ain't going to make it back.
Surely it needs some desent bouyancy where you can stay almost dry and get going again with out to much drama. Then when you are nice and confident and stupid, Possibly remove the floatation.
He calls the front wing a cannard wing. I know that the word cannard means duck but I have no idea what language it is. Does anyone know?
The canard design is used on a few fighter planes and Dick Rotan uses it on a few of his aircraft designs. Makes for some very interesting flying characteristics on an aeroplane.
Why on earth would you want to invent a thing that takes ages to learn, when you need a survival suit while you are learning. That water looks freezing
