    squire in the wind

The 'sniper' and I headed out to point X in the bay for a deadly SP session over the weekend. As the forecast was for 15-20 knot winds we made for an early start and within two hours, we had landed upwards of 25 and lost the usual 3 or 4 bigger specimens that steamrolled us - ripping and shredding our 12lb fluro leaders in the reefs.........bring it on!! The wind was blowing but the fish didn't mind and it was good to have the place to ourselves......only saw one other boat move across our area!

Great work....what plastics do you find work well on the snapper.
The gulps here at Noosa have been working well particularly the 5 inch jerk shads in the sapphire colour.

    Awesome pic Dave .

An amazing session not to forget. Flourocarbon rocks! It stays strong even after getting rubbed up on reefy rocks, it sinks, but most importantly the fish can't see it! You can't beat those Japanese lines!

    Hi Pistol_P

I have only ever tried the gulps in 3, 4, 5 inch. All I have tried have worked for me and i am very impressed, except for the shads sometimes suck a bit.
