Honda self propelled mower..After 2 and a half years and about 5000 lawns it still starts first time every time.
Worst tool::
Honda self propelled mower. The design of the frame makes it a bitch on damp grass. A little dew, shower of rain or even spitting on the lawn makes it clog,,clog and clog.
He He yeah I hear you mower man, me old mans got 2 old 4 hp S/Prop 24 years old now with the 1 piece solid blade. They don't clog, and still not dead ,Alloy deck on it with holes though.
So I bought a 5HP self propelled one 2 blades always clogs which could be the 2 blade set up causing the problem. But I ain't got a lawn anymore bloody water restrictions.
I love my air die grinder with a tungsten burr bit. Until you have had one, you cannot make a valid comparison.
Most useful tool is a tradesman's quality,rechargeable drill. .
Ahhhh todays favourite tool is me Baby jack hammer, i'm knocking slots in me stone retaining wall to put beams in for me deck. Bloody thing is higher than me slab, stupid builders.
And if the noise ain't upsetting the neighbours, it's the Stihl blower i'm using to clear the debri's for the next cut, all over there washing.
Don't know I do keep going to the fridge though.
Okay Don't mind me just pay back time for the bloody yappy dogs all night when I have to go to work at 03:30.
How come the owners never hear them, but every one else want's them buried.
Got another favourite tool a couple of days ago.
Tis me Atom rotary tiller, made in Australia and powered by the tiny 1.1 HP Honda 4 banger. It's 330 mm wide cut and will dig down to 10 inchess.
Used some exspensive heavy stuff before and this thing would wip there arse for speed and ease of use.
Didn't think 1.1 HP would cut it but don't need more than 2/3- 3/4 throttle to dig a hole in the ground. still makes you sore, after a few hours but could be me being out of shape.
I treasure my Russian built "colour Tune". These are old school tools for tuning. It is a spark plug with glass in the middle so that you can see the colour of the combustion. Blue is lean, and too Orange is rich. Amazing tool.
These were popular in the Drag Racing game a LONG time ago.
Interesting gadget there bilge boy, heard about them years ago. So what colour is just right.
In flight we adjust the mixture by a cylinder head temp gauge on Aircraft.
You lean it out rev's increace and the head temp rises until it peaks then drops off.
You go richen up back to peak temp, then enrichen just a tad more.
Pretty easy when theres a bunch of gauges.
Of course if you change height at any time you have to do it again.
Line/wire snips and ganging/crimping pliers. All I do in my garage is make tackle up.
If I need tools for anything else then someone else will be wielding 'em as I'm bloody useless!
