didnt get to fish at warick this weekend ended up at oakey creek for the weekend only managed a turtle was wondering what the fishning is like a connolly dam will i be able to lures fish or will it be weedy what the fishing like at the moment never been there b4 and going next weekend some directions on how to get there and best baits do tehy close gates etc how long can i stay i.e can i get there at 4 am in the morning is there good bank access

any info and reoports muchly appriciated

mate good access, not sure wether you are allowed to camp, don't know about the gates, no idear on baits but worms or thrimps always seem to be what the guys tell me, directions; head towards stanthorpe and you can either take the 1st turn after leaving the outskirts or the other turn about 3kms out

apparently you have to be a member of warwick fishing club and are only allowed to fish from boat on sunday??????this is only what ive heard. i fish the bank a few time and havnt got any thing yet. some one else maybe let you know. no problems with gate it is closed but i shut it and drive to top of wall were ther is agate to good bank fishing. hope this helps bdowdy
