    snapper, gummy & flathead

Had a good day on the water today armed with tackle to catch fish from flathead to mako.
The day started trying to get some fresh salmon for bait, only got one little one. Then when chasing a feed or 2 of flatties and ended up with about 30 with the aveaage size of about 350mm. From there we went to a snapper mark and got 5 gummies and 2 snapper. Lost mine biggest ever snapper at about 750mm long while holding the snapper boat side waiting for my deckie to gaff it, He wasnt in any hurry or so it seemed. So while he is still rebaiting I tried to get the gaff and let a bit of slack in the line, well bye bye snapper. Didnt end up seeing a mako to put a bait out to but its all good.
    cheers
