Thanks for the congrats and words of encouragement fellers. Jacks are certainly all they're cracked up to be in the fight dep't although I was lucky that this little red was out in the open when he took.

For those that know the lagoon just before Castle Hill..........huge chunks of bank have just eroded into the entrance and although it was high water, I'm guessing that a couple of pieces may still have water round 'em at low and eventually may hold a jack or cod. At least those jet skis can be congratulated for creating a bit of habitat

Bit of bad news for you now mate, that first fish on a HB is going to be the start of a long and very expensive relationship with your friendly local tackle shop.
