    First local Trout

I went out Sunday morning from Burnet Heads (Bundaberg) with my 16yr/old nephew we could almost walk on the Mac Tuna so we got a smallish one and took it for fresh bait out around 15 mile my first bait down on a pat/rig a chunk of the said tuna on the other hook half a cuttlefish head, didn't even get a chance to rig up my 2nd rod when the first rod buckled ova with the Trout on the hook with the chunk of tuna... It went 51cm @ 1 3/4 Kg
That was it the only other fish we got were BLOODY trigger but hell thay can give ya a run 4 ya money but soon tired of them and to save bait for next trip come home...

Those trout seem to love that oily tuna for bait, especially if it's fresh.
