Yeah you do get the occasional one or two. Where's the piccy?
Well it happened and there's pic to prove it, while heading up the Noosa river last week some friends of mine watched a guy land a 70cm barra and took a pic to prove it. I had a look at the pic and it was a salty not a farm fish.
Cheers Warren

Mate, hope it was released - that would be rare down that way.
Hopefully there's another one there to start a nice little population for fisho's in the southern regions of the state.
I'm keen to see the pic too, please post!
Yeah I have heard of a few barra being caught in the Noosa river every once in a while. I would also love to see the pic if you are able to post it.
Bring on the picture, a statement like that defiently needs a picture...

Show me the Snapper!
The pic will be in fridays Noosa news, but I will get the pic emailed to me and posted it. Sadly the old guy who caught it did not release it

Theres nothing wrong with killing that barra. If I caiught it in season I would have taken it home. You are entitled to your opinion but that would be a great feed
Spiderbite,
Did you actually see the guy kill this fish? I was told that he also caught a Jack and that he released the Barra as he knew it was out of season. Interesting - the plot thickens!!
