whilst fishing some days im sure some of u have caught a shark of some sort. i have found that many people having the shark at boat side cut them off. For the people who have been lucky enough, or unlucky enough, wat do u do when u catch a shark? i know the last time i caught a hammerhead it was coming for my tea, but others i was staying as far away as i could. wats ur opinion/ or even story?
Almost always get a shark when fishing the Brissie river. Have kept some of the smaller ones for fish and chips but they are generally a nuisance always managing to seek out my biggest and best livies and destroying them.
A mate of mine caught a metre long bully the other night and it had a few metres of heavy braided line hanging out its arse!
The last month up here in Townsville, all that has been caught by me off the rockwalls is black tip sharks. Great if nothing else around for a bit of fun but nothing around usually beacause of bloody sharks. They stink and whilst I have enjoyed flake and chips my caught sharks go straight back.
