trolling with surfski what to use

when im not working im thinking about fis!hing ! i also do a fair bit paddling on surf ski ! so i want to troll behind ski probably flatty any suggestions on a lure also the lehgth of line between ski and lure ! doing this in maroochy river where i paddle varies 2m to .3m fishplukka

Hi I fish a bit from a kayak and if I am just drifting with the flow I drop a sp over the side with a suitable size jighead to stay on the bottom if paddling any shallow diver hard body will work for you the ecogear sx48 and sx40 are the current fashion but I find most hradbodies between 5-10cm work well colours dont really matter being in the right place is the key.
