KILLED Closed Season Barra
Gday all,
Whilst i was up in the bundy region having a fish i came across a few frames tied up in a tree, on closer inspection i realised it was a big saltwater barra, we measured it to be around 92cm, a bit of a shame because barra are in closed season at the moment.
There was also a nice jack and salmon tied up as well. Makes you wonder where these idiots come from, and why they aren't being educated this fish is a breeder and pretty important around the rivers in bundy, seeing as there isnt many barra around there.
Cheers

It wouldn't surprise me if they were illegally netted either. These cowboys don't give a stuff.

Idiots why don't they take the frames back with them or use them as crab bait, as for closed season hope they get caught.

Well I think it is appauling but so long as idiots keep doing the wrong things the more they increase their chances of getting caught doing it. Let's hope!

Mate ,
i remember last year when my wife and i where returning from lucinda (as we do every year), and in the closed season somebody has hung a barra frame from the road sign, just out side out side camila it would have gone at least 850mm. Just goes to show poeple really only come to ruin what they came to enjoy.
