i just got in from the pin after tring my new ugly stick went for a bit a troll when things were looking good ---the line ran , the rod bent , the heart was a pounding, and i could feel my ego growing with every metre of line spooling off.------------------------------------------------s%^& snagged cut the line and start again end off story, going home hungry
My sympathies Hoodie. It's been the story of my life lately. Like you, I intially get excited when I snag my lure. I'm beginning to think these stories of people catching quality fish are making them up!
man I'm glad to hear that other people are coming home empty handed, been to the pin a few times in recent months and some days not even a bite, then you hear about blokes picking up 70 + cm flatties. I'd like to know where?
