    Redcliffe Shallows - Australia Day

Went kayak fishing with a bunch of guys from the AKFF site (Including Trevally King Nabs ) at Redcliffe. Fished around the shallow reef/rocks and caught a 32cm Bream, 20cm Bream, 42cm Netted Sweetlip, a 36cm Squire, and had a bit of fun with a couple of Tarpon around the 40-45cm mark.

One of the other guys landed around 5 of the Tarpon with the biggest landed 47cm, and he lost another much bigger boat side.

It was a great morning, and will definately be back there.

All fish caught on 4" Turtleback GULP in Pumpkinseed (With green fleck)

    G'day Dan,
Have never come across the sweetlip over there. The squire are quiet at Redcliffe at the moment but the diary shows that March/April have been the best months for the last couple of years. Bring em on. Just ending 5 wks off but next break will give you a ding and see if your keen

Nice report Dan, you really had a great day with the fish, all we could manage was one undersize sweetlip I did manage to hook something big before we left that got me straight into some rocks..
So that Breams your new PB? Nice work, I gotta catch up

Dezzer - Definately keen mate. Just give me a yell.

Ed Man - Ummm. Not sure... Didn't speak to Dan that day.... Spoke to him maybe a week before though...
