    FCV-620 Aus Prices

OK, we have heard alot of the pro's and con's of buying electronics from overseas on other threads, so which Australian retailer will do the best deal ?, so we can keep it "Local"

I'm after a Furuno FCV-620 and the best I can get is $ 1,300 so far, anyone know where we can do better than this?

Feel free to pm me if you prefer.

    Cheers

Jason at Northside marine will give you a good price.
I got one from there last week at $1190, plus he'll give you some help if you have any problems after you hand the money over, if you know what I mean.
    It works well.

Trimax marine at Capalaba has them for $1250 including transducer. Before Christmas Leisure marine quoted me $1220 to beat their price.

I had a friend coming out from the USA for Christmas and ended up buying for Aust $900 ex Star Marine Depot.

There a great unit, where ever you buy from you won't be dissapointed

    Good luck

I have just bought a sounder from a guy who has set up a business specialising in diving gear and marine electronics, in Central Qld. I did not price Furuno but he was well under the typical price for the Humminbird and Lowrance gear I looked at. Service was good so it would be worth contacting him to find out what he can sell that unit for.

I included his email address in the previous post....don't know why it's not there? Are we not allowed to post email or web addresses?
Anyway, will pm you the email address.
I picked up the Humminbird 787C2 colour sounder/gps, with Navionics Gold XL3 card (Cape York to Tassie), for $1390 delivered
