i fished there a few weeks ago with plastics and did ok. I started at the jetty and walked upstream on the incoming tide and managed a small fatty with plenty of small hits on a 3' minow pumpkin seed. After that went up to the main beach and had a go in the channel but the current and wind was to strong. Saw some people using prawns land some small bream.

    Hope this helps

    Cheers Sneaz

Try the Gulps on a low tide

I have had most luck down there right at the channel mouth on very low tides - flicking Gulps and powerbaits I have had a few decent flathead - however they are not easy to get.

A word of warning for boaties, Nudgee does get quite shallow at the entrance on low tide right near the first marker comming back in !
