I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone could guide me to a landbased spot for fishing with my children. I have three of fishing age 9, 6, and 4. I would love to take them somewhere to catch a feed of Leather Jacket, Whiting, Bream, or Flathead etc. I have taken them to Wellington point and although we had a good time catching very small Trumpeter the presure is being applied to "Dad" to show us where the "big fish" live. Surely there are jetties or banks near Brisbane/Gold Coast where we can catch some leatheries, Bream, etc... Anyhelp would be greatly appreciatted.

you could go to collages crossing there are plenty of gar and mullet for the kids and there is a chance of a shark, believe it or not you can catch bream up to two kilo's aswell
