    Hi Pom,
Depending on where you are staying on the Baffle will govern how long it may take to get to the Dam. From Winfield to the Miara turn off then to the Dam is aprox an hour. Be careful on the dirt road this way as the corners have a lot of loose pebbles and you can slide easy.

If travelling from the Wartburg side through Miriam Vale it would be around an hour and a half, someone please correct me if I am wrong as I have not travelled that way before.

Slick Rigs and Storm Suspending Shads with a rattle work Ok, I use a majority of Hard Bodies , but some fishers do have fairly good luck with softies. Big Slider Grubs on a Solid 9 to 13 gram + weighted heads have worked for us as well.

    Good Luck

    Hi Pom

Should book a charter with Brett (Still Waters Charters). He will put you on the spots if they are not shut down. As he says, try the Squidgie Slick Rigs (110s) but cut down the lead with some side cutters and slow roll them. Good colours apparently are Drop Bear and Technicolour Yawn.

    Best of luck

I'd stay at the dam or Gin Gin when the weather was conducive/fish were on, and then shift to Baffle.

Hi Pom , at a guess as it sounds like you will be coming through Wartburg, I would at least allow an hour and a half and possibly come in through Miriam Vale, unless someone else knows a better and quicker way.
