    Gday CTA,

Try around the mouth for whiting , bream and flathead. We were using live beach worms and squid. Across from T boat hire to the right of a small yacht that is always there throw into a small inlet there for whiting on the incoming, also to the right of a tree branch there we were getting bream.

Caught some trevally at Munna pt. and around the bridge early morning on prawns believe it or not.

The water was crystal clear and it is pretty hard going to get a feed with all the boat traffic when we were there. Could see tons of whiting and flathead in the shallows on the drift but could land a nice fresh worm in front of them and they would sniff it then keep picking in the sand around it. Hope this helps a bit

    Brad

If you have a boat try the stretch of water between the 2 lakes. I was up there most of last week and landed numerous but small estuary cod, average flathead and bream. Right out the front of John's Landing a young kid nailed a 43cm cod, 45cm Trevally and a few mins later, a 50cm Mangrove Jack, all on live whiting!
    Cheers,
    Dorado
...in case of emergency, take me fishing
