G'day all,
This is my first post and I'd thank all those who post their great tips. It helped me to land my first Jack (30cm - from the Chevron island bridge) on a livey.
I lived in Ayr for a couple of years and fished regularly luring for Jacks and Barra but since moving back down to Brisbane haved ventured out little with mild success. I was beginning to think that these Jacks getting caught on the GC were made up!But there's nothing like learning from a bit of local knowledge and I'm motivated now to up the Jack hunting.
Again, thanks for those giving up (some) secrets to keep an angler happy.
