    Pros and Cons of VRO Unit

    I have a 1989 110HP OMC - 2 stroke with original VRO unit.

    Space is becoming an issue.

    Should I keep my VRO pump/container or should I delete it from system and just top up petrol with oil in container?

    Pros and COns or VRO?

    mate i have a 1985 evinrude 185 vro, that i was talked into removing, after a few problems with bad(stale)fuel i put the vro back , motor ran cleaner , starting was easy and no more oily plugs . kerry is spot on .

    any others with ideas?

    besides vro siren, how would i tell if it was not working properly?
