    Moogerah 19/01/07

Trolled around from 10am(late start - had to take the wife) to 2 pm and only 1 ski boat in sight. Might be different over the weekend though.

Got most of the fish on the hump that is between the 2 creek beds - towards the wall from the boat ramp. This hump rises up to about 14 feet from about 30 feet in the bottom of the old creeks beds on either side.

    Ended up with
5 bass - 1 at 40cm , 1 at 38 cm and the rest low 30's. The 2 larger bass were caught on a Jackall Mask vib silver shad and the smaller ones were caught on a 5/8 oz orange and yellow spinner bait.
5 yellowbelly - 1 at 40cm and the others were between 30 and 35cm. All caught on a Kokoda g-vib deep og-t. It has a black head and back with a yellow tinge to the sides.

    Well done

    Hi Callop

Just when its fishing well my engine died. Have ordered a new one but by the time I have had it fitted the fish will have hibernated.

    Good session - well done

Well we went to Moogerah this afternoon (saturday) and I must say it was a pleasant day on the water.

About 10 fish were boated but out them only 2 were legal...and those two were stinkin goldens...The highlight of the day was my 5yo daughter scoring a 46cm golden cast and retrieve.

Dont know what the story was this afternoon, but the big Bass just did not want to play the game!

    Hi Leigh77

I guess you don't like Yellas? I love them - just as much as bass!

(Trolling seems to get the big bass at Moogerah)

Out there this morning on my Kayak, managed to troll up this 47cm Bass using a Kokoda G Vibe.

Not many ski boats around until around ten.

    Cheers

    Macca
