help new to fish finders

hey have just got a sounder and dont understand them as its the first one i ever had is there a website where it shows all the work and jerks on operating them i have humminbird piranha max 10 nothin flash but hopefully help me any advices pics and info any one can give me will be muchly appreicated

What brand is the sounder that you have? Lowrance/Eagle have instructional DVD's and books to help people get the most out their electronics. Could be of benifit to other brands too.

Unit has simulator mode I think, this will allow you to muck around and learn on dry land.

I have one of these sounders on my Kayak, there is not really much to them, pretty simple to use.

What sort of things do you need to know?.
