    Hey Gerty. Welcome mate.
That is certainly a top looking Jack ya got there and from the river too! Even better mate. Don't hear too often of Jacks getting pulled from the river, so you may have yourself a good spot there.
I'm sure you'll be getting asked where. Hint hint............
    Nice pic.

Nice jack mate.....Those little ecogear sx40's are a great lure.....I used them alot when I lived down south for bream around the oyster racks....They love them..
I also lost quite a few on the racks....

He's a beauty and note that he's really dark brown....there are big colour variations depending on where they are caught.

Excellent fish there Gerty and welcome to ausfish. It's good to see the younger guys getting into fishing and joining up to sites like A/F. Maybe we can teach you younger guys a bit about how to actually type proper words :p

Haven't tried and ecogear SX40 as my favourite is a trusty Nilsmaster in bright orange but I'll give one ago now that you've posted that.

Must add that I ahven't scored a jack yet but have had a few nice bream around the oyster leases in Nth NSW with the nils'
