How to edit your Profile

At the top of the page you will see the main chat board menu bar. Click on Member CP as highlighted in the pic below




You can also use the Quick links link. Just click on Quick links located on the right hand side of the menu bar. A drop down will appear, as per pic, then click on Edit Profile

how can i change my member name

You can not change it.

You will need to send me a PM and tell me what you want it changed to and I will do it for you.

I have noticed for instance under your Member name you have date joined which we all have, but how do you put the location there aswell

how do i put the location near my date as tanglefoot asked. and also how do i put a message under my post like ausfish who has reguards steve brown and tanglefoot has a pic with tanglefoot next to it any help would be appreciated.

That is all done in your Forum Profile, not your Public Profile.

Click on Member CP or Quick Links, as shown in the first post, then Edit Profile, then in the section that says

Location
Where you live

Type in where you live in that text entry box. Then click on Save Changes


Then on the Left hand side menu click on Edit Signature and follow the on screen prompts.

Sorry but doesn't work doesn't give me much info to help you.

When it doesn't work, check the screen for error messages.

Usually when it doesn't work you will get an error message/reason why on the screen. Correct this and it should work.

Post up a screen print of the screen when it doesn't work and I may be able to help you. Or give me some step by step details.
