I would like to invite you to one of the best catch and release event in South East Queensland.

Over the five years this event has been running it has gained a reputation amongst anglers as being one of friendliest events to attend. Of course this is over and above some of the great giveaways and the excellent fishing experienced by all anglers.

This is a lure and fly only event where trolling is allowed and anglers not only compete on all levels but display a genuine camaraderie to share information not only on the best lures & fly's but also technique's used to catch fish, which in the end benefits all.

The venue for this year is Boondooma Dam located approximately 4 hours drive north west of Brisbane and about 1 hour past Kingaroy.

Boondooma is undergoing a major face lift with self contained cabins and new amenities block being constructed, plus lots more set to be completed by mid September. To book a spot in November call Lance or Kristy on 41689694 don't forget to mention you are fishing the competition to get some great prices.

This is a teams event and requires a minimum of two anglers to form a team, with at least one angler to be 16 years or older and having a current boat license suitable to operate their craft. Anglers also will need a permit to fish this impoundment and this can be obtained from most post offices.

Anglers must remember this is restricted to a maximum of 75 teams plus sponsors to ensure the social atmosphere is maintained, so it is essential anglers secure their place early to avoid disappointment. The cost is $ 80.00 per senior and $ 35.00 per Junior.

Saturday night will again be a top evening with our spit roast, and for entertainment we have secured a musician to fire the evening up. So bring the family for a top break ,top class fishing and great company.

Refreshment will be available with both heavy and soft on site at very good prices.

A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the loacl stocking group.

Hope to see you there
