    Re: Berley for freshwater species

Have heard of some different things working at times.
From chook pellets to jelly crystals its been used.
I have however seen positive effects by crushing up shrimps or/and crays and feeding them slowly over the side.
A mate & I experimented with a few things a while ago & used some whole white-bait thrown into schools of shut down #bass at Somerset. On the couple of occasions we did it, the fish did stir up on the sounder and we got a few fish, but this maybe just coincidence.

    Cheers,

    Hi,
Try crushed up shrimp and yabbies mixed with bread an chook pellets. I have also heard that the juice from bardie grubs is also good.
    cheers
