Just recieved info in the mail on the next round of applictions for the North Pine Boating Access Scheme.

For those in SEQ who are interested there are about 300 permits up for grabs. Same ballot type system as last year. It needs atleast 140 permits to be issued for it to be successful this year. There will be a public information night at 7:30 pm on Teusday 12th of March at the Strathpine Community Centre, Mecklem Street Strathpine, at which applications can be lodged.

The fee is still $100 and is payable in full with lodgement of the application plus a passport sized photo.

Applications must be recieved by close of business Friday 29th of March. It is hoped that this years scheme shall be open for the next lot of permit holders by the 4th of May 2002.
