Is there any Ausfish members in the Tamworth area

I would like to know if Split rock or Keepit dam has been firing for cod on bait or lures.

gday dougkeepit was fishing well will stop now as they started letting water out of split rock to fill keepit up to 60% plus for summer.

Onya Billy I last fished Keepit during May it was just a puddle then. Although still managed to bag out on yellas a couple of times, with live shrimp. This time of the year I try to tangle with a big greenie in Splitty, Thanks for the info on the water being let out of the dam, as I find it fishes better when the the water is rising. If they get some rain in the upper catchment area around Barraba I might just be tempted to take a few sickies and cruise down there again.

Don't waste your time fishing the dams around the tamworth area.

The best fishing is in the peel river around the carroll area.

Is very cold there though.

Contact point for reference is the south tamworth bowls club...they have a fishing club ...the south tamworth bowlo fishing club.
