Re: Fairburn at Emarald
Hi George,
Have fished this dam on a couple of occassions as my wifes uncle owns a motel in Emerald and have fished the dam when we visited a few times have nevevr done that well there but have been told that there is some good Barra and Toga available the last time that I fished it about 3 years ago now the stocking group was about to get up and get going again, as nothing had been done for quite a few years. camping is available at the dam with grassed sites power hot water etc a few concrete pads from memory but not many. Will try and find out how it is fishing with a phone call tonite if you like, hope this helps.

Re: Fairburn at Emarald
Hi George,
The dam has been fishing very ordinary for the past few months in August a few barra were caught the biggest was 8kg that Trevor had heard about he told me that you have to work exceptionally hard for the fish as the dam is still in its infancy stage. as far as fishing with Fitzy goes leave in the morn at 3:30am 07/01/03 be back Thursday hopefully have some pics and a report on my return.

I read an article on the dam not so long ago, I think it was in a modern fishing mag, I will see if I can find it.
