How can I catch My own MudEYES.

And whats the best rig when using them

Mudeyes live in the detrius on the bottom, so I catch them by raking through the weed and sorting it on the bank. They will also hide in cracks in sunken logs, but if lift out the logs to check them. put them back so more can use it.

I generally pin a #6 fine wire hook through the wing case and swim them under a bubble float.

Further to pops reply:
You can catch them by using a fine mesh net and scooping amongst the weeds. This yeilds all sorts of critters as well as the odd mudeye.
Daichii make a great mudeye hook called the 2771 (or 2117).
It' black and has a rounded gape. Size 10 or 12 is the go.
