What you use in Faust you can use in Teemburra. Gold is very popular as the colour. Reidy's Little Lucifers are very successful (use the brown/yellow colours).

Many fish are currently being caught on the troll in 10ft of water.

If you don't find em in the shallow stuff we have found a few at 5-6m trolling with deep diving Koolabungs and Poltergiests. Don't forget to chuck a few flys around.

Stayed up there overnight and managed only one fish, a 72cm fish caught on a voilet coloured Flatz Rat. The fish was trolled up out of 20 feet of water. We have been useing Flatz Rats,Squidges,Scorpions,B52 as well as poppers and had success on all of them, I mainly use the brighter colours like pink through gold and silver though. Most the fish we catch are from 2-25 feet, kinder makes it easy hey . Anyway hope that helps. Catch later

                Re: How is Teemburra fishing?

Sure was quiet at Teemburra one barra 79cm yesterday late on a popper, one sooty 41cm this morning on a gold scorpion.
Oh well it comes and goes. Sure is a tent city there lately I wonder when the clamp down on camping and big outboards will come. I can't see anyone doing any harm at the moment but can the health issue coming with no toilets where people are camping. New owners at Pinnicale Hotel, meals are great and good value too.
                See Ya, Sooty

George, it was a chapie, a surecatch i think, but skitterpops are great. I like the look of some of the river and sea poppers, have a cicidia ?? ( the noisy insect) one to try out, it looks the go.

                          Re: How is Teemburra fishing?

                          Manson,
have had success in both, however I like have found that the best results have been in the sparse timber around where the creeks enter the main dam water. Have had best results opposite the reddish steep bank at the entrance to Middle Ck, also arount the scattered timber about the old hut.
Love the Storm plastics (although was getting more hits than hookups, losing tails till I put a trebble stinger on them) and the Kakoda aussie baits which come complete with trebble are fantastic.

                          George,
Let us know how you do at teemburra will you?
                          see ya, Kev

                            Kev.
Will be fishing faust befor the comp late september[long way off].Then we, my mate swano and my 10 year old boy will fish teemburra on the way home.Sounds like the fishing styles and locations are similar to faust. We caught fish in river beds leading to the main bays.Landed a 118cm[25kg] in 15 foot of water in a heavy timber edge.Next day landed a 116cm[26kg] in 4 foot of water. On our last morning in faust fished on a timbered edged of a old river bed we landed 18.Biggest going 103.Plenty around the 65-85 cm mark. All fish released to give someone else a chance to have there arms pulled out of their sockets. Best lures were the koolabung 100 mm livebaits and the DK scalerazas.Didn't have much success on poppers due to the wind blowing its titts off.Used loomis 665 i make with a chronarch on top full of 20 pound firerline with 70 pound schneider for leader[yep 70 pound]bring on september.
                            cheers george
