Anyone fish BigW regularly?
I haven't fished here for a few years, took the canoe up and camped overnight 31st-1st June. Fished Logan Inlet for 30mins before dark and got a couple of missed hookups while trolling around.
Sunday fished Logan Inlet again with a missed fish. Decided to go and fish the Hayes Landing area, where I used to fish, but realised they closed the area. Fished Branch creek with not much luck either. Just one missed fish. Fishing skills must be getting a bit rusty.
Anyone got any tips for this lake? Are there patterns to where the fish hold during the different seasons? Depths etc?

Chuong try your luck at Hamon Cove...ive caught a few fish around this area...mainly dew and talapia and fork tail catties...no bass as yet but have seen them caught here....any fish is a bonus while quietly cruising around this peaceful lake.
Cheers Brent
ps..make sure you have a boating permit as well as the fishing one if your boat is on a trailer..for car toppers you don't need a boating permit.

I didn't think you needed a boating permit for canoes? I used to do alright for bass and yellas years ago over at Billies and Hayes. Will give Hamon a go next time.
