Bank fishing Chaffey

Hi,

I live in Tamworth and have been out to Keepit a couple of times and caught Yellow's and Silver's. My house has river frontage to the Peel in Tamworth and I haven't been successful in catching anything yet - had a hit on a lure but no luck.

Anyway - I went out to Chaffey for a look/fish today, and apart from the algae I thought it looked good for some cod or even some big lake trout.

Anyway I don't have a boat and it seems most people in Tamworth prefer to fish Keepit or the rivers so does anyone know where to go at Chaffey? I was at the western foreshore today, and the South Tamworth Fishing club seems to have the monopoly on deepwater frontage.

Any Ideas?
