Awonga - Prosopine reports ?

I'm heading back up to fish Awonga,Prosopine/Faust,Eungulla and Cania next month with the family again (I Need to better the wifes barra ) . Just after any recent reports - and what lures/flies have been fishing etc ???

Any information appreciated - Can't wait to get back up there again 8)

You've been talking to Motty no doubt.

Teemburra, Monduran and Callide are the go for Barra and Borumba for Toga.

Heading up to Awoonga myself on Saturday for a couple of days and then up to Prosopine Dam for a couple more hopefully the Barra are as hungry and keen as i am..

Friend of mine has been at Peter Faust for the last 6 days or so for 4 fish. 1 over the metre. (Scott, you'd know Brendan Rolt?).
The weather's improving so it should only get better.
Group of guys apparently caught over 50 fish just recently with over 30 past the metre mark.

I wondered how Brendan was getting on. He borrowed my lures a month a go and went up to Awoonga and nailed a 1.15Metre barra!!

Leaving on the 3rd and should be at Awonga on the 4th January - Faust from the 8th, Eungulla from the 13th and Cania for a few days on the way back home - Can't wait

Good luck Scotto, Was up at Awonga a mth ago, fished fly for 5 days in about 30knt Eastly for 1 monumental bust up (on a 4/0 white Decever with gold flash).Very keen to get back up there and fish it in better conditions. MQ
