i'am sorry theres no pics i have tryed but just woun't do it today so heres the goss
left home earliy to a shocking start a fog that stayed till around 9:30am so the fish weren't that intrested but did manage 10 bass a few small ones a few meduim ones and a couple of nice ones and a lot of missed fish on the surface lures
first two were only smallish to 15cm fork on a fizzer but the next two were good missed one good fish got a second good fish only to have him throw the hooks at the boat and landed the third mersure was 37cm fork these three fish were all in the same area and all in a space a a few minutes
by this stage the sun was on the water and the minn kota's battery had died (i didn't charge it the night before)
so swaped to spinnerbaits and got another five odd
mostlie around the 24-30 cm mark but a larger 35cm fork in there also
so all in all it was another plesent day at kempsey N.S.W.
Good Job. Are you guys talking about largemouth(Black bass)?? We are still frozen in here in the Northeast part of the United States, but spring is coming soon. Stop by our web site abnd chat, we would love to have you guys there also once in a while. Steve 8)
No they are Australian Bass, not even from the same family, Largemouth are not permitted in Australia, (that's Australia not Austria) they are considered a noxious pest here. Aussie Bass would leave a largemouth for dead, for pulling power that is.
sk check out the freashwater pic section on this site you will see some of the pics from this session and also a very good pic of what the australian bass looks like
