    Lake Dyer

    Hi fellas
I am wondering if this lake is not open to boaties, but just land based fishos at the moment because I know its pretty low at the moment.
Also any info on the quality of the fishing would be very helpful
    Thanks, Matt

    Hi Matt,
I seriously wouldn't bother with Dyer ATM. Went for a run out there not long ago & you could walk across it. Good for the birds but I doubt if there's a fish apart from eels still alive in it.(See pics below).
The lake is in 2 small sections now. There were kids riding trail bikes up & down the middle of it then & I even drove the falcon up the guts of it for a looksie.
You are allowed boats there however when there's water of course. There was a flow in the Lockyer Ck recently but I dont think any water got pumped into the lake.

Just checked, Lake Dyer is at 5%. The pics above were taken at 1% capacity so the water will certainly be higher than shown.
