    Outboard Flushing

    I know that its nessessary to flush the motor after a saltwater trip, but what about freshwater?

    i think if in dout just flush out!
    put it this way it can't hurt to give it a flush as even in dams there is a chance of haveing a bit of salt in them

    You will find that the water from the tap is harder on alloy than the water in the dam. I always go for a run up the dam after fishing in salt water, most of my mates do the same.
