    Matt,

The person who made them has stopped doing so. Another company are going to produce them in a plastic injected model. They will catch fish like all lures but will not be the same hand made wooden Blitz's .

Have a look at smaks site they are makeing them now.

    Re: Blitz Baggas

As Tony stated, they're coming out REAL soon under the SMAK range of lures. I've got a couple of the new ones here & am swimming them next to a few of the old ones for comparison. Any store that stocks SMAK lures should be able to get them for you as soon as they're released.
If they shape up as good as the old ones, they'll be a classic..

Wont be long now I think Matt.

    Tony,
I assure you that the plastic ones will be as good as the cedar ones, we have spent months getting the density and action right and now we will put them to the test. If they are not as good it will be back to the drawing board for some fine tuning. As soon as my shed is set up I will be making some mini blitz bagas and I will also start designing some new models.
    Cheers

    Re: Blitz Baggas

'bout time you chimed in Murray. Good that you're working on new ideas. What about the Moogerah special you made, think I've got one of them here still too!
The 20 or so original Blitz Bagas I've got left (some still in the packaging) will only be getting a swim while I'm testing out the new ones. After that, they're staying on the wall at home for the grandkids to have.
Have still got some original Brolgas as well. Actually had some Bellbrook Swaybacks for a few years until I donated them to Rod Harrisons collection. Look ok next to old Kadiacha's, Floppy's & Cod Killers.

On the SMAK Lures, you never know where they might turn up for sale. Watch this space for updates.

    Re: Blitz Baggas

    G'day guys
Tony, just tell Nathan that I am now making them out of a special white wood, he'll fall for that.
Whitto, no mate, the new Blitz Bagas won't have a rattle, the noise of water pressure over this size bib is all that is needed and it is a more natural sound than rattles, shhhh don't tell the fish and they won't know.

The cedar Blitz Bagas, collectors items "yes indeed". There have been a few offers getting aroung of $50 each . If this is the case Wayne is sitting on a goldmine, I don't even have half the amount he's got and I make them.

Fitzy, give me a call when you put them to the test. The only thing that concerns me is the consistency of tracking with those bib clips, I'm probably being a bit too fussy there. If they pass the test it won't be too long before they are released.

    Cheers

    Re: Blitz Baggas

Have now been put to the test, they seem to catch fish just as the cedar ones. Now more moulds have to be made and then they are on the road to full production.
