has any1 has ever been fishing at Somerset Dam plz send me a message, i need to know what kind of luers and hooks to use.... and if any1 knows any good spots

ive checked fitzys page, but there is nothing on luers or hooks.... ta

I go to Somerset fairly regularly and mostly troll hard body lures, some of the bigger fish I've caught have been on sliders and tailspinners. It depends what kind of fishing you want to do. For hardbody trolling deep diving lures like Strikezone large critters, smak 19's, Blitz Bagas, and Fyshee's deep somersets are the best all rounders that will catch fish, probably best to go for bronze and gold type colours but in the end it doesn't make a great deal of difference(it's the action that matters). Stick to structure on the bottom and the edges of the old river bed.
